Fish Biryani:)


1 kg Rice, 6 -8 medium sized fish pieces (boneless prefered), 4-5 medium sized onion, 2 tblspn ginger garlic paste, 2-3 chopped tomatoes, mixed spices, 1 tblspn red chilli powder, salt to taste, 1/2 tspn turmeric powder, 6-8 fresh green chillies, 200 grams youghart, few mint leaves, oil/ghee, kewra essance, orange food color,

Fish Achari

Dhoodiya Machli

Ingredients

½ kg fish fillet
1 cup coconut milk
1 onion
Bay leaves as required
4 cloves garlic
125 grams yogurt
¼ cup oil
½ cup fresh cream
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp hot spices powder
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 tbsp grated coconut
2 tbsp green chili paste
2-3 tbsp oil
Coriander for garnishing
Whole hot spices as required


Method
• Firstly, cut ½ kg fish fillet into cubes and sauté in 2-3 tbsp pre heated oil and keep it aside.
• In a skittle, heat ¼ cup oil and golden brown 1 chopped onion.
• When onion is about to change its color to golden brown, add whole hot spices as required, few bay leaves and 1 tsp mustard seeds in it and cook it until onions turns golden brown
• Then add 125 grams yogurt, 1 cup coconut milk, 2 tbsp grated coconut, 2 tbsp green chili paste, 4 cloves of garlic, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp hot spices powder, 1 tsp cumin seeds and 1 glass water and let it cook on low flame.
• When gravy has thickened, increase flames to let water evaporate
• In the end, add ½ cup fresh cream and fried fish cubes and cook in on high flames for 2 to 3 minutes. Delicious Dhoodhiya Machli is ready to serve.
