Ingredients for Pastry
Flour 8 ounce
Butter 4 ounce
Egg yolk 1
Chilled water to make dough
Ingredients for Filling
Oil 2 tbsp
Onion chopped 2 tbsp
Flour 2 tbsp
Mince ½ kg
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Water 1 cup
Oregano leaves 1 tsp
Tomatoes (cut in round slices) 2
Ketchup 4 tbsp
Wooster sauce 1 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp
Black pepper ½ tsp
Method for Pastry
Beat 4 ounce butter, add 1egg yolk, beat well, now add 8 ounce flour, beat till mixture resembles crumbs, add chilled water and knead lightly to form dough with chilled water as required, rest for 30 minutes, roll and cut in small rounds, spread in small tart trays and keep asides.
Method for Filling
Heat 2 tbsp oil in pan, fry 2 tbsp onion till soft, add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste with ½ kg mince, cook till dry, add in 2 tbsp flour with ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp black pepper, 4 tbsp ketchup, 1 tbsp Wooster sauce and 1 cup water, cover and cook till mince tender, cool filling, divide filling between pastry circles, top each with a slice of tomato, sprinkle with oregano leaves, bake for 20 minutes till golden brown and crisp, serve hot.
