Allo Mattar Khichdi

Ingredients
300 grams rice
1 cup boiled peas
1 onion
3 potatoes
4 green chilies
50 grams dried plums
½ cup oil
¼ bunch coriander
1 tbsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp red chili flakes
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
Salt to taste

Method
Firstly, boil 1 cup peas. Then cut potatoes into 1 inch pieces. Also slice 1 onion. Then in a pan, heat ½ cup oil to fry sliced onion and add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and stir it for 2 to 3 minutes. Add potatoes, boiled peas and 1 cup water and let them boil on close lid. When potatoes are tender, add 4 green chilies, 1 tbsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp red chili flakes, ¼ bunch coriander, salt to taste, soaked 300 gram rice, 50 grams dried plums and 1 ¼ glass water in it and let it cook. When rice level has rise, mix everything and allow simmering for 8 to 10 minutes. Delicious Allo Mattar Kichadi is ready.
