Chicken Mushroom Pie

Ingredients

½ kg boneless chicken
1 capsicum
1 carrot
1 egg
4 finely chopped green chilies
½ kg puff pastry
½ liter milk
½ cup peas
½ cup mushrooms
½ bunch parsley
¼ cup oil
½ cup corn
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp crushed red chilies
4 tbsp cooked flour
Salt to taste


Method
• Firstly cut ½ kg boneless chicken into small pieces
• In a pan, heat small quantity oil and stir 1 tbsp garlic paste and chicken cubes for 4 to 5 minutes
• Then add ½ cup boiled peas, 1 boiled chopped carrot, 1 finely chopped capsicum and ½ cup sliced mushrooms and stir it for 2 to 3 minutes more and keep it aside
• Now, in a different pan, boil ½ liter milk and add 4 tbsp stirred flour to thicken it
• Also add 1 tbsp crushed black pepper, salt to taste and ½ cup fresh cream and mix it properly
• Then add cooked chicken, carrot, capsicum, peas, mushrooms, ½ bunch parsley, 4 finely chopped green chilies and ½ cup corn in it and mix it properly and keep it aside
• Pour and spread the whole mixture in baking tray
• Now flatten ½ kg puff pastry with the help of rolling pin and spread it over the tray and cut the edges. Take that leftover dough, flatten it and cut into strips
• Use these pastry strips to design over the tray.
• Now polish with beaten egg. Bake it in 200c pre heated oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
• In the end, when it changes its color to golden brown, take it out. Delicious Chicken Mushroom Pie is ready to serve.
