Badami koftay
Ingredients for kofta:
Beef ½ kg
Garlic cloves 4-5
Ginger 1 piece
Onion 1
Green chili 4-5
Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
Mint ¼ bunch
Salt to taste

Badami koftay
Ingredients for gravy:
Oil ¼ cup
Chopped onion 1
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Cumin powder 1-1/2 tsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
Chili powder 1 tsp
Boiled tomatoes 2
Water 1-1/2 cup
Salt to taste
All spices to taste
Yogurt 250gm
Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
Crushed almonds 25gm
Ingredients for gravy:
Oil ¼ cup
Chopped onion 1
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Cumin powder 1-1/2 tsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
Chili powder 1 tsp
Boiled tomatoes 2
Water 1-1/2 cup
Salt to taste
All spices to taste
Yogurt 250gm
Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
Crushed almonds 25gm
Badami Kofta
Method:
1- Add ingredients for kofta in a food processor , and chop well. Take the mixture out in a bowl.
2- Boil and peel 25 gm almonds.
3- Make balls of beef, and place an almond in the middle of each ball.
4- In a pan, heat oil and add 1 chopped onion. When it turns tender, add ginger garlic paste and cook for another 2 minutes.
Method:

5- Add all spices as required. Add ½ cup water, and remaining dry spices. Cook it on low flame for 3-4 minutes.
6- In a blender, make a paste of 2 boiled tomatoes, 250gm yogurts, 25 gm boiled almonds and ½ cup water.
7- Add this paste in the pan, and add ½ cup more water.
8- Bring the gravy to boil, then cover and carefully place minced meat balls in it.
9- Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes.
10- Uncover and stir well.
11- Garnish with coriander leaves.
12- Delicious badami koftay are ready to serve.
